The Happy Assistant
On 30 August I had the absolute pleasure to assist Sybrand, Pro Photography, with a wedding in Langebaan, Western Cape - the weather was cold and miserable but everything else was a dream. The bridal couple was so in love (and young), and the scenery epic. Weird i havent used Langebaan yet for any other shoots, afterall my "ma and pa" lives there??!! Weird... its a place with hidden treasures and I will certainly make use of it more often. Getting ready to jump into the wedding season, next weekend being my first official wedding. but im sooo excited, my friend Tracy is starting to assist me on a more regular basis - not only do we get to spend some girly time together, but she makes up double what I lack in the assertive area and she is a true GEM to have with me... we are going to have so much fun! Here are some pics from the wedding I assisted with Sybrand... the recently crowned Wedding Photographer of the Year - Mr Cilliers.
Knowing that Sybrand dislikes my tendency to see things through an angle, it gave me loads of giggles trying to stop myself doing this. But out of it i took my most favourite pic in a looong time - thanks to Andrea (the bride) and Sybrand. I simply cannot wait to begin with my wedding season... officially.
