So what's been going on

I thought to maybe pop in a post of where i am at - since a whole lot of things have changed in the last couple of months. First and foremost thank you from the deepest place in my heart for all my couples who have been giving me the time to edit your weddings to my heart's content. Another three weddings will be blogged within the next couple of days which then finalises my HUUUUGGEEEEE wedding editing race. Monique, Sunel (say hi to Dubai for me!) and Liesl... :)

On a personal note, it has been an interesting couple of months for me, some filled with turmoil, some filled with emotions running and to top it all off.. my beautiful big girl Nicola, started writing exams this term, which threw this not-the-usual-around-the-mill-soccer-mom for a loop. What? We have to study for grade 4?? huh? hahaha.. she did soooo well, and me! im so proud of my gorgeous green eyed sweetie pie. I will be posting more regularly about my girls and our hectic life here as well (its my intention at least..)

And then, I have communicated this to most of my clients already, but my plans to relocate to Dubai was cancelled and with that a lot of things changed! Like in EEK!

So what am i really saying? - its been a rough couple of months, my friends/family/loved ones and my clients have been there for the times I needed to simply "pause". Maybe in a delinquent way.. but hey.. i will be taking some of those pauses more often i think :) (my mom is the first one to say im the most irresponsible person out there - which reminds me... anyone looking for kittens? Lemme know...)

For right now.. i want to shoot families, models, friends, babies, soon to be mommies, nudes, couples! - allll of the subjects I used to spend so much time on, the subjects which made me fall in love with photography. In fact i want to shoot my own family and friends constantly.. hahaha. Lastly, I am excited to say my friend Tracy is going to start assisting with administrative duties which has me super excited. Thanks Trace... tell me when you want to cry uncle.

I am ... in fact..... such a lucky girl to have soo much joy in my life. Yes, i am.
