Monique & Louw: Meerendal

Blue is her favourite colour, and I totally understand why... I have yet to meet someone with more blue eyes than Monique. Blue and corn fields.. those are the two colours I associate you with Monique, the warmth of your personaility in the colour of late summer fields -a deep lively vibrant yellow! Louw is a rugby player and it pores out of his whole being - he is built like a rock, he carries himself with a confidence of a guy who goes for what he wants and gets it, but he is so naturally down to earth and .. just plain nice. A guy's guy.

Guys your wedding was on the most beautiful day - with such a beautiful setting. The detail to everything at the wedding, which Monique did mostly herself speaks of how dynamic the two of you are.

I loved every second of your wedding - thank you soooo much for allowing me to capture your most perfect day.

I have no words at all to describe how much I love this shot...

Fierceness!

I think blue favours you too :)

Michael & Sunel: Mosselberg, Hermanus

I feel happy when I think of spending a day in Sunel and Michael's company.. There are so many many many incredibly small reasons why this wedding was perfect - the weather on the idyllic Hermanus beachfront was warm, the venue was as exquisite as it comes and here I got to work with two people who together just makes my mind go zingggggg. Your love is the stuff toffee apples and rainbows are made of, it just is, it is magical - and your friends and family will nod in agreement as they will know exactly what I am talking about. You touch people without even trying. Michael and Sunel you rocked all the many different sensory and emotional stimulants I possess.. and there are many.

Michael and Sunel lives in Dubai and came all the way with family and friends to celebrate their wedding day in style.. and they were styling all the way.

You make me smile. So thank you.. for giving me the honour of shooting your story.

I can highly recommend the following vendors to future brides:

http://www.dishfood.co.za/ - i have worked with these guys before and the food is incredible but truly beautifully presented - an awesome team to have close by for any big day

http://mosselberg.co.za/ - a venue which takes your breath away, i am only sorry i did not have another two hours to shoot here

my wonderful second shooter and very good friend - Peter Lambert http://www.capeweddings.co.za/photographers/peter-lambert-photography-and-videography.html

And lastly, a special thanks goes to Sunel's mom, without whom this day would have not had that very pesonal touch it so radiated (try and book her as wedding coordinator!! :))

Is she not just exquisite?

This kind of chemistry is tangible, it really is - i loved the light we got to work in, so so lucky

Michael and the boys .. being just boys, we dont need to understand them, we just need to love them
One close to my heart, that's Peter taking a shot in the foreground
