If I had to choose a wedding to shoot after arriving from Australia the night before (and i cant sleep on planes) this is the wedding I would wish for.... Clinton and Cornel, you guys rock. I arrived in Bettiesbay and found Cornel, her mom, her friends at The Retreat, a beautiful guesthouse, wow what a stunning place! - Cornel is a professional makeup artist and with those eyes, and that hair I couldnt help but stand back, take a deep breath and try and capture her unique beauty. When I met Clinton and Cornel a couple of months ago, we were all late - they just made it, but after a late night out, a bit under the weather - what I expected to find on their special day was exactly what I got- a couple so in sync with another, full of respect and so much fun to work with. Thank you SO much for making me feel so spoilt, thank you Cornel - girl you said you dont like photos, but you were so easy to work with - I had the time of my life!

Annelise & Jacques: Provence, Wellington
One very hot sunny afternoon, together with a little snake (yes this is true).. (apparently it wasnt dangerous gmphhh), there was a little girl called Annelise getting married to her prince charming.. Jacques.
Thank you so much Annelise, Jacques and both sets of parents and family... for making me a part of your day and letting me capture your special moments.

I heard about this one before he arrived... i soon realised why - look at this gorgeous little thing.

Thank you so much Annelise, Jacques and both sets of parents and family... for making me a part of your day and letting me capture your special moments.

It might sound strange, but something unique I will always remember about Annelise & Jacques wedding is how Annelise's best friend, Joanita, only had to look into Annelise's eyes, or do the special arm rub thing - to give Annelise assurance.... and give her that little sparkle in the eye. Its a girl thing - its a friend thing. Friends like these are rare to find. Down below you will see the moment these two friends make eye contact and the look of proud and loving friend in Joanita's eyes. As I said... ITS A GIRL THING.
