Carla & Pieter L'Avenir 7 March 2009

Carla and Pieter travelled from Canada to tie the knot at the beautiful venue L’Avenir in Stellenbosch on the 7th of March. Carla is sweet. Pieter is sweet. Together they are sweetness times a trillion wrapped up in one and I loved spending time with them and their family on this spectacular day. Carla immigrated to Canada with her family when she was still a teeny bob and everytime she spoke she made me smile – here is this very Afrikaans girl, speaking English with a Canadian accent. Pieter is a doctor and on his return to Canada he is going into the specialized field – it is so awesome to see such a young couple being so dynamic. Carla and Pieter had a whirlwind romance, which led to this momentous occasion and I was struck by how in love these two still are, and probably will continue to be – if I had to take both sets of parents as examples for their future, it is definitely going to be a long and happy life they live together. Thank you so much for the long email chats Carla, I hope to speak to you often and hearing about new events in your exciting life. Thank you for letting me share a day filled with so much love, laughter, pride and beauty. You are both beautiful from within.
